Christina Reed is an accomplished editor, writer, and web content manager at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) since January 2021. In addition to this role, Christina serves as an external consultant for GlobalWonks and owns The Pitch Place. With extensive experience as a freelance science writer since 1999, Christina has also been a content provider for CapDecisif Management, focusing on the space industry's economic analysis, as well as a communications consultant for UNESCO and CARBIOS. Academic contributions include professorships in journalism and environmental reporting at Sciences Po, Sorbonne University, and IEJ MediaSchool from 2018 to 2022. Christina holds two master’s degrees from Columbia University in Journalism and Earth and Environmental Sciences and a Bachelor's of Science in Oceanography from the University of Washington.
