Poole, began their professional career in 2001 as a Mechanical Engineer for H+M Architects and Engineers and Devro-Teepak. Scott D. Poole, then founded Poole Engineering & Consulting, where they served as Principal. In 2002, they joined Global Performance as a Mechanical Engineer. From 2007 to 2020, they held several roles including Principal at Sims Group Consulting Engineers, Vice President of Design & Engineering at EnergySolutions, and Vice President of Design & Engineering, Nuclear at Atkins. Scott D. Poole, also worked as a Project Engineer and Process Engineering Lead at EnergySolutions. Most recently, they worked as a Project Manager at Merrick & Company and Advisory Project Engineer at Globalpundits, Inc.
