Brian McFerran has a solid work experience in the field of software engineering and law. Brian is currently working as a Software Engineer II at G-P/Globalization Partners since July 2022. Before that, they spent over two years at Liberty IT, where they held various roles including Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and Associate Software Engineer from September 2019 to July 2022. Prior to their software engineering career, they worked as a Solicitor at Leigh Day for eight years from April 2011 to September 2019. Brian also has experience as a Solicitor at Joseph F McCollum & Co from September 2007 to January 2011.

Brian McFerran completed their education with a Master of Science in Professional Software Development from Ulster University in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Certificate of Professional Legal Studies from Queen's University Belfast in 2009, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the same university in 2005. Their secondary education was completed at Sullivan Upper School from 1995 to 2002. In addition to their academic qualifications, Brian McFerran also holds a certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, which they obtained from Amazon Web Services in July 2020.
