Patrick Purdy is an experienced manufacturing professional and small business owner currently operating Purdy Machine and Manufacturing, LLC since March 2023. With a background in engineering, Patrick has held significant roles at Global Steering Systems, LLC since March 2020 as both a Manufacturing Engineer and Senior Manufacturing Engineer, where responsibilities included the full implementation of new product processes and coordination with suppliers. Prior experience includes improving overall equipment effectiveness at Holo-Krome and facilitating educational team-building activities at UConn Four Arrows. Patrick also completed mechanical engineering internships at Pratt and Whitney and Becton Dickinson, focusing on engine dynamics and scrap reduction projects, respectively. Patrick holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Connecticut, completing studies in May 2023.
