Samita Samnani is a dedicated research assistant currently contributing to the NYU Metro Center and Barnard College, focusing on education and gun policy issues. As Vice President of External Relations and Events for the Columbia University Chapter of the Global Research and Consulting Group, Samita combines leadership and engagement. Involvement with the Columbia Women's Business Society and Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity, Inc. further highlights a commitment to diversity and inclusion initiatives. Previous experience includes roles as a market research intern at Empire Global Ventures LLC and a marketing and development intern at Kontaktsource, alongside a program internship at Behind the Book. Academic endeavors include pursuing double bachelor's degrees in Political Science, Human Rights, and Education from both Barnard College and Columbia University.
