Ionela Mitran is an experienced professional in sales management and portfolio development, currently serving as Country Manager for Romania at Global Payments Inc. since June 2016. Their role includes overseeing a network of merchant retail partners and implementing strategies to enhance sales productivity. Previously, Ionela held various positions at BCR, where significant achievements included a minimum 25% yearly increase in network expansion and the creation of a multifunctional CRM system. In earlier roles at CREDIT EUROPE BANK ROMANIA and Radiocom, Ionela excelled in strategic partnership development and managing client accounts. Ionela holds a Master's degree in Communication and Human Resources from SNSPA and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Bucharest.
