William Baro Jr. is an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in geology and environmental compliance. Currently serving as an Environmental Compliance Coordinator at Global Partners LP since March 2020, William has extensive experience in soil and groundwater sampling, oversight of excavations, drilling, and underground storage tank removal. Prior roles include Environmental Field Geologist at Pioneer Engineering & Environmental Services, where responsibilities included managing field crews and project operations, as well as conducting thorium monitoring and Phase II field investigations. William also worked at DLZ Corporation as a Geotechnical Field Geologist, where soil and bedrock sampling was performed, and as a Construction Materials Technician, focusing on testing various construction materials. William holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
