Tammy Jones has a diverse work experience, starting in 1998 as a Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen. Tammy then worked at Protiviti from 2001 to 2004 as a Manager (IA). From 2006 to 2012, they held the role of Vice President, Internal Audit at PSCU Financial Services. In 2014, they became a Senior Manager at Protiviti for a few months before transitioning to the position of Director of Internal Audit at Global Partners LP, where they are currently employed. Additionally, Tammy has worked as a Volunteer and is currently serving as an Executive Contractor for various companies.

Tammy Jones pursued their higher education at the University of South Florida. In 1997, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management. Tammy then furthered their studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree with a specialization in Accounting Information Systems in 1998.
