Luann Hoyseth-Wann is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Principal at Global Leadership Academy since March 2022, along with roles as Assistant Principal and Local Coordinator for Educational Travel and Culture. In addition, Luann operates as an Education Advocate for the Center for Teacher Effectiveness since January 2022 and previously held the position of Gifted Learning Lead at Duval County Public Schools from November 2021 to March 2022. Luann's extensive background in education includes various positions at Fairfax County Public Schools, where roles spanned from Assistant Principal to Science Teacher, and earlier experience as a Middle School Science Teacher in Clarksville Montgomery County School System. Luann holds an Ed. Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Virginia Tech, a Master’s degree in Secondary Science Education from Columbus State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geography from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
