Jorge V. is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications & Digital Media Manager at the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) since September 2022, where responsibilities include managing digital media platforms and evolving communication strategies for APAC audiences. Previously, as a Public Relations Specialist at Huawei from September 2020 to August 2022, Jorge V. managed projects across Western Europe, leveraging cross-cultural communication skills to enhance relations between Chinese executives and European stakeholders. Earlier experience includes co-hosting the popular radio program Lǎowài Kàndiǎn at China Plus, China Media Group, focusing on cultural exchange, and a summer internship at China Sun Consulting, where legal document translation and interpretation were key tasks. Jorge V. holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Peking University and multiple degrees in Asian Studies and languages from esteemed institutions.
