Charlene Slapak Lambros, RN, MS, has extensive experience in nursing informatics and clinical documentation. Currently serving as the KP HealthConnect Inpatient Application Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente Information Technology since April 2003, Charlene leads care plan development and patient education initiatives. Previously, Charlene worked as a Nursing Systems Analyst at John Muir Medical Center, where implementation of the A4 Healthmatics ED application took place in a level one trauma center. Earlier roles included serving as a Senior Business Consultant at Kaiser Permanente IT focusing on clinical terminology modeling and a Staff Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Charlene holds a Master’s degree in Nursing Informatics from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University.
