Kayle Giroud has worked for a variety of organizations, beginning in 2017 with an Intern role at OIM - ONU Migration for the Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) Support Unit. In 2018, they were a Trainee at the Département fédéral des affaires étrangères DFAE for Portfolio Management at the Embassy of Switzerland in Accra. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Quality and Administration Associate at MD-CLINICALS SA. In 2020, they began working for Global Cyber Alliance as an Associate Director of Partnership and Sustainability, Assistant Director of Partnership, and Partnership and Business Development Assistant for the EU and Africa. In 2022, they began working as a Coordinator for Nonprofit Cyber and as a Volunteer Member for Women4Cyber Belgium. Additionally, in 2022, they became a Research and Innovation Manager at IRU, managing advocacy efforts and project activities for the digitalisation of the road transport industry, working on projects up to €36M.
Kayle Giroud has an extensive educational background. From 2003 to 2011, they attended Collège Champittet, where they obtained a Maturité Fédérale Suisse. From 2013 to 2016, they attended Université Saint-Louis - Bruxelles, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government. In 2016, they attended McDaniel College as part of an Erasmus+ program. From 2016 to 2017, they attended Durham University, where they obtained a Master of Science in Defence, Development and Diplomacy. Lastly, from 2020 to 2021, they attended Université Saint-Louis - Bruxelles, where they obtained an Advanced Master in Interdisciplinary Analysis of European Construction. In addition to their educational background, Kayle Giroud has obtained several certifications, including an Internet Governance certification from the Internet Society Foundation in August 2022, an International Organizations Management certification from the University of Geneva in September 2020, and a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2019.
