Joanna Onwuchekwa began their career in 2012 as a NYSC at the Central Bank of Nigeria, where they maintained and updated various ledgers, prepared vouchers for daily expenses, and processed cash and credit payments rapidly and accurately. In the same year, they also began working as a Customer Service Representative at First Choice Leasing ltd, where they helped prepare promotional sales of E-Banking products, created custom-designed service menus for customers, and referred unresolved customer grievances to designated departments. In 2014, Joanna became an International Student Recruitment Advisor at UNICAF, where they assigned mails to team members and supervised the responses, made courtesy calls to check customers, and generated periodic reports on the team. In 2021, Joanna began working as a Recruitment Sales Analyst at Jobberman Nigeria, where they ensured feedback received was used to develop an in-depth understanding of customers, translated customer needs into business requirements, and served as an advocate and champion for the customer-centric, research, and design cultures to stakeholders. Most recently, in 2022, Joanna began working as a Search Engine Optimization Specialist at Global Commerce Media GmbH.
Joanna Onwuchekwa has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southwales United Kingdom, which they completed in 2021. Joanna also holds a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from Micheal Okpara University Umudike,Abia state, which they completed in 2010. In 2009, they also obtained an Accounting Technician certification from ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN SCHEME WEST AFRICAN. In 2016, they obtained a Diploma in Customer Service from ALISON - Online Learning. Additionally, they hold an Accounting Technician Scheme West Africa certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
