Ashley A. Powell, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical research and trial operations. Ashley A. is currently serving as the Vice President of Trial Operations at the Global Coalition for Adaptive Research, a position they have held since January 2024. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive Director of Trial Operations and Senior Director of Trial Operations at the same organization. Ashley A. also has experience as a Director of Clinical Trial Operations at the Global Coalition for Adaptive Research.

Before joining the Global Coalition for Adaptive Research, Ashley worked as the Director of Clinical Operations at Outset Medical, Inc. from 2017 to 2019. Ashley A. also held the position of Senior Manager of Clinical Research at Nevro from 2016 to 2017.

Ashley began their career as a Biological Technician at the Institute of Forest Genetics from 1993 to 1995.

Dr. Ashley A. Powell obtained a B.S. in Genetics from the University of California, Davis, between 1994 and 1996. Following that, they pursued a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology at the University of Arizona, from 1996 to 2002.
