Tammy (Thameshnee) Pillay serves as the Head of Global Regulatory Affairs at the Global Antibiotic R&D Partnership (GARDP) since March 2023, leading the development and implementation of regulatory strategies for the organization's portfolio. Previously, Tammy held the position of Chairperson at the Southern African Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs Association from April 2019 to May 2023 and worked as a Responsible Pharmacist at Viatris from July 2020 to February 2023. Additional experience includes roles as a Consultant at HUMSA Pharma Consulting and as the Director of Regulatory Affairs/Responsible Pharmacist at Gilead Sciences. Tammy holds a Master of Project Management from the University of Southern Queensland and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, along with participating in the ORAQ Training Program at Duke University School of Medicine in 2023.
