Shirine Derakhshani is a Scientific Affairs Senior Officer at the Global Antibiotic R&D Partnership (GARDP) since May 2023. Previously served as Review Operations Manager at Frontiers from February 2017 to October 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing the Frontiers in Oncology peer-reviewed journal, contributing to significant revenue growth, and managing the Physical Sciences and Engineering portfolio. Earlier experiences include roles as Event Marketing Manager at Biowebspin, Research Assistant at Visteon Corporation, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and EPFL, with a focus on scientific research and partnership development. Shirine holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Bath and a Complément d'études in Biochemistry from the University of Geneva, alongside an International Baccalaureate Diploma from the International School of Geneva.
