Astrid Pentz-Murr is a seasoned professional in the field of scientific affairs with extensive experience in antibiotic research and healthcare communication. Currently serving as the Scientific Affairs Senior Manager at the Global Antibiotic R&D Partnership (GARDP) since January 2018, Astrid has previously held several roles within the organization, including Community Manager and Senior Officer for Scientific Affairs. Prior to GARDP, Astrid worked as a Freelance Writer and in various roles at Weber Shandwick, focusing on healthcare public relations. Astrid gained foundational research experience as a PhD student at the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research and has a solid academic background with a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Vienna and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Fachhochschule Technikum Wien.
