Lucia Fernandez, LMFT, PPSC, CWA, has been serving as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since July 2012, providing mental health counseling to individuals, couples, and families, with a focus on diagnosing disorders and creating personalized treatment plans. Specializing in work burnout and stress, Lucia also offers workshops on mental health and work-life balance. In addition to clinical practice, Lucia serves as a Graduate School Instructor at the University of LaVerne since June 2021, where lesson plans are developed for School Psychology students. Since July 2015, Lucia has worked as a Mental Health Coordinator for Glendora Unified School District, focusing on staff training and mental health service coordination. Prior experience includes an internship at House of Ruth, providing therapy for trauma-affected children and women. Lucia holds a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services and Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Law from California State University, Los Angeles.
