Alma L. Tejeda LMFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist with extensive experience in mental health counseling and psychotherapy. Currently, Alma operates a private practice, Therapy Con Alma, since March 2023, and serves as a DIS Mental Health Counselor within the Glendora Unified School District, focusing on the social-emotional support of high school students in the Special Education department. Previously, Alma worked as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and Consultant at Foothill Family, providing early intervention services to children ages 0-5 and their families. Earlier roles include serving as a Behavioral Instructor at Therapeutic Learning Consultants, utilizing applied behavioral techniques for young children with autism, and as an Office Assistant for the Los Angeles County Office of Education. Alma holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine, and an Associate's degree in Psychology from Mt. San Antonio College.
