Catherine Cheely has extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Catherine started their career as a Sr. Planning Analyst at Carmax in 2002 and worked there until 2005. Catherine then joined Gaylord Entertainment as a Strategic Planning Analyst from 2005 to 2007. In 2008, they worked as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company. Catherine rejoined McKinsey & Company in 2009 and worked as an Associate until 2011, after which they became an Engagement Manager until 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Food Lion as the Director of Strategy Analytics and Director of Strategy Development. In 2015, they joined VF Corporation as the Director of Direct to Consumer Strategy and worked there until 2017. Currently, they are the Sr. Global Brand Director at Glen Raven, starting from October 2017.
Catherine Cheely pursued their education at the University of Virginia from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on Economics and Foreign Affairs. Later, they continued their academic journey at The Wharton School from 2007 to 2009, obtaining an MBA degree with a specialization in Marketing and Operations.
