Marissa Hecht currently serves as a Human Resources Coordinator at Glen Dimplex Americas since October 2023. Previously, Marissa was an HR Administrator at Weidmuller Ltd. Canada, where responsibilities included full-cycle recruitment, employee onboarding, and managing HRIS databases. Marissa also worked as a Guest Registration Supervisor at the University of Guelph, ensuring student admissions into residence buildings and maintaining safety protocols. As Lead Project Coordinator for the Indigenous Chamber of Commerce of Ontario, Marissa focused on website development and social media branding, while also conducting outreach and policy document editing. Marissa began professional experience as a Crew Member at Love Gelato, emphasizing customer service and training new hires. Marissa is pursuing further education at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies, following the completion of a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Criminal Justice Public Policy from the University of Guelph.
