Chief People Officer at Gleeds

Louise leads Gleeds’ people team to source, recruit, train, engage and retain talent across each of the company’s global locations. Her focus is to continue to cultivate a working environment at Gleeds that is inclusive and delivers exactly what employees of the future want and need.

Working with her colleagues on the Executive Board, Louise works to identify and establish an agenda that complements business goals whilst adding sustainable, social and commercial value.

Louise is a strong, commercial, experienced People Director with an extensive track record of delivering HR transformation in customer centric global environments. She joined Gleeds in January 2018 from Majestic Wine plc, where her role centred on improving employee engagement and retention across the company’s 1,250 UK and French based staff.

Prior to this, she had amassed 18 years’ experience in human resources working for high profile retail brands such as Whitbread, Selfridges, The Dune Group and Thresher. Louise has a diploma in Human Resources Management and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
