Nicholas Blumling is a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer at Dynamic Systems Inc (Gleeble) since January 2017, specializing in the design of electro-mechanical and servo-hydraulic testing equipment. Responsibilities include the preparation of 3D parametric CAD drawings, assembly and troubleshooting of equipment, customer support, and management of inventory control systems. Nicholas also updates technical documentation and creates machine site layout diagrams. Previously, Nicholas participated in a multidisciplinary senior design project at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute focused on developing a lightweight, market-competitive Cross Flow Wind Turbine prototype. Additionally, a Field Engineer/Quality Control Internship at Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation involved quality control tasks for the GE-Hudson River Project. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, completed in 2016.
