Satyam Shanker has worked in the software engineering field for over 15 years. Satyam began their career in 2006 as a Research Intern at Cornell University. In 2007, they moved to Microsoft as a Research Intern. Satyam then worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft from 2008 to 2013. From 2013 to 2018, they held the roles of Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at AppDynamics. Most recently, from 2018 to 2022, they held the role of Senior Software Engineer at Harness. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Glean.

Satyam Shanker graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2008 with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. Satyam completed their studies between 2004 and 2008.
