Hans Bala has worked as a Software Engineer for Glean since 2022, a Full Stack Developer for GrowSquares since 2021, a Lead Software Developer for E-HOA since 2021, a Research Assistant for Brown University since 2020, and a Research Analyst for Prudential Financial since 2019. At E-HOA, they developed e-hoa.com, an all-in-one property management startup to digitize all aspects of the housing industry. Hans also designed the backbone of the application, including optimizing the database for fast lookups of communities with cache abilities, and designed the community wide chat infrastructure with read receipts, group chats, and push notifications.

Hans Bala graduated from La Martiniere for Boys in 2018 with a High School Diploma in Computer Science. Hans then attended Brown University from 2018 to 2022 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
