Mieke Verrue is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compliance, risk management, and program management. Currently serving as Head of Compliance, Risk Management & PMO at GSK, Mieke also holds the role of Director, Head Program Management, and oversees EHS Engineering and Capex projects. In addition to responsibilities at GSK, Mieke is a Guest Professor at UCLL Advanced Business Management Banaba. Previous roles include Interim Management Consultancy at ThoLu Consulting, Quality Director at BD myShopi, and Senior Project Manager at Belgian Post Group. Mieke's career began at Toyota Motor Europe as an R&D Engineer and Team Leader, complemented by experience as a Research Assistant at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Mieke's academic credentials include two Master's degrees from KU Leuven and a Prevention Advisor certification in Occupational Safety and Health Technology, along with professional certification from Bureau Veritas.
