Chelsea Cater is an accomplished professional in the art industry with extensive experience in registration and art handling. Currently serving as Senior Registrar at Gladstone Gallery since September 2022 and as a Contract Registrar for the New Museum of Contemporary Art since April 2018, Chelsea has managed significant exhibitions and collaborated with various stakeholders to ensure efficient exhibition turnover. Additionally, Chelsea has worked in various roles including Registrar and Art Handler at multiple galleries, emphasized a studio practice as a self-employed artist, and is continually enhancing skills through ongoing education and artist residency programs. Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from Vassar College and has attended prestigious institutions such as Otis College of Art and Design and University College London, specializing in sculpture.
