Thomas Schmid is an experienced professional in manufacturing and logistics management, currently serving as the Manufacturing & Logistics Manager and Continuous Improvement Lead at Givaudan since July 2020. Prior to this role, Thomas held various positions at Givaudan, including Manufacturing Manager for both Spray Dry and Liquid Compounding, overseeing large production teams and significant annual product volumes. Thomas also gained valuable experience at Sigma-Aldrich, where responsibilities included leading medium and large-scale production departments, as well as ensuring compliance with GMP standards as a Quality Responsible for Production. Educational qualifications include a Lean Black Belt from Givaudan, a Doctorate in Chemistry, and a Master's degree in Technical and Macromolecular Chemistry, all obtained from ETH Zürich.
