Nadia A. is a highly experienced research scientist, currently working at Climate Change AI since October 2023, while also serving as a university lecturer at UC Irvine since March 2023, focusing on upper division projects in AI. With a longstanding role as an associate professor of computer science at Saddleback College since January 2013, Nadia teaches various programming courses and coordinates outreach programs. Previously, Nadia contributed to the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science as a machine learning researcher, where notable projects included the application of self-supervised learning to study cosmic radiation effects. Leadership roles include serving as a team lead for multiple projects at Frontier Development Lab, where collaboration with NASA and the Department of Energy occurred. Nadia holds a PhD, master's degree, and bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Irvine, reflecting a strong academic foundation.
