Raj Laud currently serves as the Head of Cybersecurity and Online Safety Legal at GitHub, a position held since January 2021. Prior to joining GitHub, Raj Laud worked at the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois from September 2010 to January 2021, where roles included Deputy Chief of the National Security and Cybercrimes Section, Deputy Chief of the General Crimes Section, and Assistant United States Attorney. Raj Laud began legal career as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Joel M. Flaum at the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals from September 2009 to August 2010. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Yale Law School and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
