Rémi Rey has a diverse work experience in roles related to site reliability engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure management. Rémi is currently working as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at GitGuardian since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SUITED as a DevOps/SRE professional in 2021. In the same year, they also worked as an Investor at Time for the Planet.

Rémi's previous experience includes working as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Aviatrix from March 2022 to November 2022. Before that, they were a DevOps Lead at Intersec Group from October 2021 to March 2022, where they created a DevOps team responsible for improving product operations and deploying applications on Kubernetes.

In 2021, Rémi worked as a CTO at ASTUCORP and as a Tech Lead Infra and Coach DevOps at TotalEnergies. At TotalEnergies, they coached teams on automation deployment practices on Azure.

Rémi's earlier roles include working as a Consultant OPS at OCTO Technology from September 2017 to December 2020, where they gained expertise in operations consulting. Rémi also worked as a Consultant OPS at SFR, conducting security audits and implementing centralized identity and authorization management with Keycloak.

Rémi Rey's career history also includes a short-term role as a Consultant OPS at Monoprix in 2019.

Rémi Rey completed a BTS degree in I.R.I.S.T from Jean Mermoz in Montpellier, from 2003 to 2005. In addition, they obtained the following certifications: "PCA: Prometheus Certified Associate" from The Linux Foundation in December 2022, "CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer" from The Linux Foundation in July 2021, and "HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate" from HashiCorp in May 2020.
