Shayne Taylor has over 10 years of diverse work experience in health, safety, and environmental roles. Currently, as the Corporate Director of HSE for The Gisborne Group, Shayne is responsible for developing and enforcing policies and procedures that ensure a safe and healthy workplace. Prior to this, Shayne worked as a Health and Safety Supervisor at Centerra Gold Inc., where they supported the implementation of HS&E programs and ensured compliance with relevant legislation. Shayne also served as the Canadian Director of Safety at Vezer Industrial Professionals Inc. and as an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator at Industrial Scaffold Services L.P. Additionally, Shayne has experience as an OHS Field Manager at Timber West Construction, a Safety Coordinator at J.Phoenix, and a Security and Safety personnel at Tectonic Energy Consulting Inc. Notably, Shayne also worked as a Safety Advisor at SAFE TEE Management for the Koch Fertilizer, LLC turnaround project. Shayne Taylor CRSP, BSc, NCSO has a diverse education history. In 1990-1994, they obtained a Grade 12 Diploma from NVSS. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology from UNBC from 2007-2010. Additionally, Shayne Taylor has obtained several certifications and designations throughout their career. In 2013-2014, they obtained the NCSO Designation in Construction Safety from the Alberta Construction Safety Association. Shayne also acquired a Security Services and Investigators License in Security and Investigations from Alberta Justice and Solicitor General during the same time. In 2020, Shayne Taylor earned a certification as a Psychological Health and Safety Advisor from CMHA. Shayne'seducational journey continues, as in 2023, they are expected to obtain the CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) designation from the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP).
