Kris Clayton is an IT Application Engineer at Gisborne District Council since July 2012, specializing in the Origen/Datacom ERP system "Ozone" and currently facilitating the transition to a modern cloud-based system through integrations and data extraction tools. Prior to this role, Kris worked as an Applications Analyst focused on maintaining the Datacom Ozone suite and providing internal support to council staff. With experience as an ECR/POS/PC/VoIP Technician at Business Applications Limited from February 2001 to July 2012, Kris managed the maintenance of Casio ECR and IdealPOS terminals in the East Coast, Gisborne, and Wairoa areas. Kris holds a Certificate in Business Computing from Tairawhiti Polytechnic and has a background in education from Campion College from 1995 to 1999.
