Steffen Beckert is currently the Head of Database Technology and Operation and Operations Manager at GISA GmbH, a position held since January 2018. Prior to this role, Steffen served as a group leader at Universität Leipzig from July 2013 to December 2017, where responsibilities included project leadership and coordination in the fields of energy storage and conversion, as well as participation in the IEA SHC Task 58 - ECES Annex 33. Steffen holds a Doctorate in Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) in Physics from Leipzig University, completed from 2004 to 2009.
