Eleanor McConnell is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as the Communications Lead at Girlguiding since September 2019, Eleanor has held multiple roles, including Member Communications Officer and Marketing Officer. Prior experience includes working as a Communications Officer at Hospice UK, where Eleanor managed marketing calendars, developed creative content, and represented the charity at public events. Eleanor's early career involved roles such as Marketing Officer at Charityworks, Communications Intern at Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership, and several internships with organizations like Fair Trials and Children of the Mekong, where Eleanor honed skills in campaign management, social media, and fundraising. Eleanor holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights from UCL and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and History from the University of Sussex.
