Hanna Nussair is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in humanitarian and human rights advocacy. Currently serving as a Humanitarian Media Officer at Oxfam America, Hanna previously held roles such as Senior Associate for Communications and Digital Engagement at the United Nations Foundation, focusing on the Girl Up initiative, and as a Communications Officer at Women for Women International, where Hanna developed impactful content strategies and supported significant advocacy campaigns. With a background that includes consulting work for Global Rights for Women and contributions to the Women’s Media Center's F-BOMB platform, Hanna has demonstrated expertise in managing media relations, creating compelling content, and conducting research on gender issues. Hanna holds a Master of Human Rights from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Florida Gulf Coast University.
