Belinda Place has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Belinda started their career at GIRI Hotels in 2011, where they held various roles including Front Desk Agent, Front Office Manager, General Manager, and Regional Director of Operations. In their role as Front Office Manager, Belinda was responsible for managing front desk staff, resolving customer complaints, and overseeing front office operations. Belinda also took on additional responsibilities such as group sales, local negotiated rate contracts, and payroll. In 2012, they also worked at Samoset Resort Golf Club as a Front Desk Supervisor. Belinda gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry during their time at both GIRI Hotels and Samoset Resort.

Belinda Place completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Thomas College from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained the CHIA certification from the American Hotel & Lodging Association in August 2015 and the CFDM certification from the same institution in April 2015.
