Kyra Maessen is an experienced professional with a background in applied biology and practical expertise in research and project management. Currently serving as a Teler/R&D at Gipmans since November 2018, Kyra has previously held various positions, including Junior Onderzoeker at Syngenta, where research focused on the effects of LED light on resistance testing, and project work on the use of frass as fertilizer for butterhead lettuce at NGN - New Generation Nutrition. Additional experiences include internships at Botany B.V. and PlentyFlora, where projects investigated the impact of CO2 and light on gerbera flower production. Kyra's early career includes roles in logistics and customer service, along with a solid educational foundation, holding a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology from HAS Green Academy and a Manager Bloembinden degree from Citaverde College.
