Serhii Kushch has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Serhii started their career as a PHP developer at ileete in 2008 and worked there until 2010. Serhii then joined the \"Nash product\" Publishing agency as a php software engineer and worked there until 2013. In 2013, they joined Daxx BV as a PHP Developer and worked there until 2016. Serhii then joined Intersog as a Senior PHP developer and worked there until 2017. At Intersog, they not only worked on backend engineering and support for legacy systems but also took on the responsibility of interviewing and onboarding new teammates. Serhii architected and implemented a system to sync user data between two systems. In the same year, they also started working at GIPHY as a Senior Software Engineer. Finally, in 2017, they joined Proxet, where they continued their role as a Senior Software Engineer. At Proxet, they introduced and implemented an error handling and metrics system and migrated API-based communication from HTTP to gRPC. Serhii also worked closely with other teams to decouple monolithic API systems into smaller API microservices.

Serhii Kushch completed their Master's degree in Power Management from Kyiv National Aviation University between 2004 and 2009.
