Krishnan Chellakarai is an accomplished cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Gilead Sciences since May 2013. In addition to this role, Krishnan has been a Board Member at SAFE Identity since October 2016 and an Advisory Board Member for NightDragon since April 2021. Krishnan also contributes as a member of the Board of Directors for the Northern California Cricket Association and founded NextGen Cyber Talent, a non-profit organization focused on enhancing diversity and inclusion within the cybersecurity industry. Previous experience includes serving as Principal/Chief Security Architect at Roche/Genentech and holding senior security architect positions at Genentech Inc., Stanford Hospital, Union Bank of California, and Reuters. Krishnan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Madras in India.
