Junko Kimura serves as the Head of Commercial Operations Japan and Senior Director at Gilead Sciences since November 2019. Prior experience includes a Senior IT Director role overseeing the Asia Pacific commercial technology product line at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from April 2018 to October 2019. Junko held leadership positions in IT and business technology across various sectors in Southeast Asia, contributing to strategic initiatives and management teams from 2010 to 2018 at Johnson & Johnson. Early career roles included IT management at Janssen Pharmaceutical K.K. and Warner Lambert. Junko holds an Executive MBA from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and has participated in programs at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and The Wharton School.
