Janelle Goins, PharmD, has over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, currently serving as Senior Director of Global Community Engagement & Advocacy for Oncology at Gilead Sciences since October 2009. Prior roles at Gilead include Director of Community Engagement & Advocacy and Patient Engagement Lead in Medical Sciences, along with a position as Principal Medical Scientist. Prior to joining Gilead, Janelle worked as Senior Clinical Science Manager at Abbott Laboratories and as a Medical Science Liaison at Kos Pharmaceuticals. Janelle began their career as a Clinical Pharmacist at Hines VA Hospital after completing a Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Janelle earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
