Hector Viadiu is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as Senior Scientist 2 at Gilead Sciences and Senior Scientist at Stanford University School of Medicine. With a strong background in cancer research, Viadiu previously held the position of Director at the Cancer Immunology Institute and Associate Professor at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Earlier roles include Assistant Professor at UC San Diego and Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School, along with experience as an X-ray Crystallographer at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a Research Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Viadiu obtained a PhD and MS in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from Columbia University, an MS in Biotechnology from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and a BS in Biology from the same institution.
