Bertil Laneby has extensive experience in both personal assistance and education, currently serving as a Personal Assistant at GIL Personlig assistans since May 2019 and as a Substitute Teacher at Humly from October 2022. Previously, Bertil held various significant roles at Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan from August 1990 to May 2019, including National Project Manager focusing on vulnerable youth, diversity, and discrimination, as well as responsibilities in music leadership. Prior to that, Bertil was involved in the music industry as a Musician, Producer, and Band Leader at M.ILL.ION from May 1989 to October 2010, contributing to seven internationally released and critically acclaimed CDs. Educational qualifications include a Pol Kand from the University of Gothenburg and a high school diploma in Social Science from KomVux Uddevalla, along with brief attendance at Röda Korsets Folkhögskola.
