Monique Burkett is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in the fashion industry. Currently serving as the Director of Design at G-III Apparel Group for Calvin Klein Ladies Suits and Suit Separates since September 2005, Monique has demonstrated a strong ability to lead creative initiatives and design development. Prior to this role, Monique was the Head Designer at Tahari, ASL from September 2002 to September 2004 and gained foundational experience as an Assistant Designer. Monique's career began with an internship at Ellen Tracy in 2001. Monique holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fashion/Apparel Design from Kent State University, where education was completed in 2002.
