Fernando Echeverría has extensive experience in the field of software development and consulting. Fernando currently holds the position of Senior Software Consultant at Stride, Inc. since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Gigster starting in December 2022.

From 2011 to present, Fernando worked at Flipside as a Senior Software Architect. In this role, they developed various web applications and e-commerce sites using technologies such as Angular, RDS PostgreSQL, Micronaut, Groovy, PHP, and MySQL. Fernando also implemented and deployed servers for domain registrars, maintained internal systems using EPP and SMTP, and designed domain-name protection and search systems involving customized DNS servers and proxy servers.

Before joining Flipside, Fernando worked as a Senior Software Consultant at Idealab from August 2022 to December 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Consultant at Heliogen from June 2021 to August 2022. At Heliogen, they implemented a database system for internal use using Angular, Python/Flask, and MongoDB.

Fernando also has experience as a Chief Technology Officer at RapidRona (Acquired by Diversified Medical Healthcare) from April 2020 to May 2021. In this role, they led the development of a system for rapid at-home Covid-19 testing, utilizing Angular, PHP, and Python.

Earlier in their career, Fernando worked at Trylonix Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2005 to April 2022. Fernando designed and implemented web-based applications, including Kid's College, and developed various tools for data analysis and database management.

Fernando Echeverría has also worked at Pragma Informática as a Senior Software Consultant from January 2021 to August 2021, at HOOK® Marketing Media as a Senior Software Architect from June 2017 to March 2020, and at Magnify Your Voice as a Senior Software Consultant from April 2018 to April 2019, where they ported a web application to a mobile app using React Native.

Fernando Echeverría earned their Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science from Universidad de Chile in 1979-1986. Fernando then pursued a Master of Science degree in Physics from the same university during the same period. After that, they attended Caltech from 1986 to 1992, where they obtained their PhD in Physics.

In terms of additional certifications, Fernando completed various online courses in topics such as Molecular Evolution, Quantum Mechanics, Computer Graphics, Virology, and more from platforms like Coursera and edX. These certifications were obtained between 2013 and 2014.
