Raanan Horowitz is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in defense and technology sectors. Currently serving on the Board of Trustees for the Institute for Defense Analyses and as a member of the Board of Directors for Business Executives for National Security and Parry Labs, Raanan also acts as a Strategic Advisor for GigCapital Global. Previous roles include Board Director at Gigcapital5 Inc., BigBear.ai, and Ametrine Inc., where Raanan contributed to governance and advisory committees. Raanan held the position of President and CEO at Elbit Systems of America from 2007 to 2024, leading strategic initiatives and corporate governance as a Board Director. Earlier career experience includes significant military service as a Military Officer in the Israel Defense Forces. Raanan holds an MBA from Grand Valley State University and advanced degrees in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
