Marcelo Alongi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Marcelo is currently working at Gigamon as the Sr. Regional Sales Director for Brazil, where they are responsible for leveraging network-level intelligence to enhance cloud, security, and observability tools. Prior to this, Marcelo worked at Fortinet as a Regional Account Manager, overseeing sales activities in three states in Brazil. Marcelo also served as a Territory Manager at F5 Networks, managing sales activities for enterprise and government customers in four states. Marcelo has held various leadership positions, including Country Manager at Infoblox and Sr. Partner Account Manager at Juniper Networks. Marcelo has also worked at Movius Interactive Corporation, Ericsson, and Promon Technologies in different sales and managerial roles. Marcelo started their career as a Technical High School Teacher at CENTRO ESTADUAL DE EDUCAÇÃO TECNOLÓGICA “PAULA SOUZA” - ETE LAURO GOMES - Electronic Department. Overall, Marcelo Alongi has a strong background in sales and account management, with a focus on developing and growing accounts and driving the adoption of solutions.

Marcelo Alongi's education history includes several degrees and certifications in various fields. In 1984, they attended ETEC - Escola Técnica de Campinas - Salesiano São Jose, where they obtained a degree as an Electronic Technician in 1986. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering at FEI from 1987 to 1992. In 1997, Marcelo attended ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing, where they focused on Financial affairs. Later, in 2001, they pursued an MBA in Business Administration at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Finally, in 2002, Marcelo studied for an MBA in International Strategic Business Leadership at Ohio University, specializing in Business Administration.
