Anthony Gomes de Carvalho has served as the Directeur général of GIE SESAM-Vitale since April 2021, leading a digital healthcare organization with nearly 200 employees. Under this role, Anthony oversees the implementation of secure exchange solutions, including electronic patient identification systems, and manages the deployment of digital services within healthcare information systems. Prior to this position, Anthony held multiple roles at GIE SESAM-Vitale from November 1997 to 2015, including Responsable Relations Industriels, where management of the Industrial Relations and Communication teams occurred, and Responsable Validation, where partnerships with software editors and equipment manufacturers were strengthened. Anthony also has extensive experience in system integration, international project management related to healthcare cooperation in the EU, and homologation processes for SESAM-Vitale billing solutions. Anthony holds an engineering degree from Ecole des Mines de Nantes, obtained in 1996.
