William Mills has had a diverse work experience that spans over several years. William began as an intern at Spin Magazine in 2004, where they gained valuable industry knowledge. In 2006, they joined Giant Noise as a Vice President and has contributed to the company's success since then. Alongside their role at Giant Noise, William also worked as a freelance journalist, writing features and conducting interviews for various publications such as SPIN, Columbia Free Times, and Austin Monthly. From 2007 to 2012, they served as an Entertainment & Lifestyle Writer at Austinist.com, where they conducted interviews, reviewed albums and live performances, and wrote profiles and features. Overall, William brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table.
William Mills attended the College of Charleston from 1999 to 2001, where they studied astronomy and physics. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Journalism at the University of South Carolina from 2001 to 2005. In 2014 to 2015, they enrolled in the UC San Diego Extended Studies program and obtained a Certificate in Copyediting.
